It’s been a while…..
July 13, 2009Okay–so I know that I have not only been bad, I’ve been downright terrible with my blogging! I do apologize, seriously! I want to be better about it, so I will try. This is just a first little update to let you know that I am setting a goal to regularly fill you in again on my time here!
So, this is the Costa del Sol/Coast of the Sun, Spain–and now I understand what that means. Though the actual temperature may not be as hot and humid as Georgia, air conditioning is not common in Spain, so it is HOT! We now completely understand and appreciate the Spanish siesta from 2-5 every afternoon, and honestly it should be longer. The nights do cool down since it isn’t very humid, but our rooms still hold in the heat–so my friend Sarah and I have moved our mattresses to the balcony and sleep outside under the big moon now! it is beautiful, and so much cooler!
A lot has happened since April….we’ve had some great visitors–including my parents!–and I’ve done a bit of traveling. I really am unsure of what to share at the moment, after so many possibilities from 3 months. But I promise to share a bit later!
